Greetings! As the WINMUN Secretary-General, I am delighted to welcome you all to the Winchester Model United Nations 7th edition.

Our first ever WINMUN dates back to 2015, and just like our past successful conferences, we truly look forward to making WINMUN2022 a memorable experience for all. Our theme for this year is Restoring World Peace - Adapting in Times of Crisis.
Considering the status quo, it would be the perfect opportunity for you all to work towards issues and devise comprehensive, creative resolutions. Now I'm sure some of you may be anxious about MUNs, especially if it's your first one, but worry not. As aspiring future leaders, your participation in this MUN is one of the many stepping stones to success. Just focus on doing your best and I'm certain you'll strive. Can’t wait to see you all. It is with immense pleasure to welcome you to the Winchester Model United Nations (WINMUN) 2022 which marks our seventh annual conference. I am truly honored to serve as the Secretary - General of WINMUN 2022.

​I would like to congratulate all delegates, novice or accomplished, for choosing to be here. You chose to make a difference within the world, but more importantly, you chose to enlighten yourself and fuel the fire of compassion for humanity within yourselves. We’ve been living in what seems to be uncharted territory for a while now and we know what it’s like to adapt in unfamiliar settings.
I primarily believe that the target of the conference is to ascertain that all delegates learn new information, improve their skills, connect with others, and most of all, enjoy their time with us at WINMUN. Don’t forget to contribute to the debate and engage in productive conversations with other delegates! I wish you all the best in your preparations and can’t wait to see what you will have in store for us as we countdown to WINMUN 2022!

It is my immense pleasure to have the seventh annual WINMUN with you all! I joined my very first MUN right here in WINMUN with little to no understanding of what MUN was about. With this being said, you can rest assured that WINMUN will be a wonderful experience for everyone, whether you're a first timer or a seasoned delegate.

WINMUN is proud to simulate a very accurate representation of the UN and to invite future delegates from all over the UAE to build a social forum. I am truly excited to welcome everyone to WINMUN 2022!
I will be serving as the Head of Research and Academics for this year's conference. My job will be to oversee the content and resources provided to you all and to make sure they are up to the WINMUN standard.
MUNs are an amazing platform to share ideas, develop your speaking skills and propose solutions for the world's current problems. It might seem difficult and quite nerve-wracking at first glance, but it is an experience that you will never forget! I hope you have an amazing time at WINMUN 2022.
